SUMMER CAMPS!

2022 SUMMER CAMPS will be held at The Renaissance Center, 855 Hwy 46, Dickson, TN with final performances on the last day of camp in the beautiful Gaslight Theatre.

First up, will be the World Premiere Production of THE CURIOUS TALE OF RIP VAN WINKLE!  Ages 12-22

Book, Lyrics and Music by Vincent Bonvissuto. 

We are looking for experienced teens and college aged actors who have the skills and creativity to develop characters, speak with Dutch accents, learn brand new songs, and sing and dance in solo and chorus numbers.  Creating a show from scratch requires a great deal of work, so to ensure we can bring it all together – dialogue, songs and choreography – we have decided to put together a two-week, intensive summer camp, providing our actors with the concentrated time and energy required for a musical of this scope. The camp will culminate in three live performances at the Gaslight Theater, and will be videotaped and shown to professionals in the theater industry.

Friday, 6/17 at 6PM

Saturday 6/18 at 2PM & 7PM.

Camp Cost $325

Our 2nd Musical Theatre Camp is a selection of our favorite songs and scenes from this classic musical THE WIZARD OF OZ put together with costumes, props and set pieces to present an abridged production on the final day of camp. We start with auditions on Day #1 and after lunch the cast is announced. We immediately choreograph group numbers. Day #2 & #3 we rotate the cast through "stations" -Choreography, Scenes, Musical solos, Costumes so that all of the show is being rehearsed and everyone remains BUSY! By Day #4 we put it all together, Day #5 we rehearse on the stage with all costumes, props, and set pieces to be ready for the final performance for family and friends at the end of our day! It is a blast!
