Service Description

This high energy Musical Theatre Class is for ages 4-7 and will meet from 3:15-4:15 every Tuesday starting January 21st to our Performance Day on April 7th. This class is catered to this specific age group with games, songs, rhymes and activities to prepare them for performing on the stage. Things your child will do in class: 1. Express themselves and sing a lot! 2. Learn theatre terms, play theatre and improvisation games 3. Learn choreography (basic dance moves) to at least 2 songs 4. Make new friends and connect with other creative kids 5. Perform “ACT ONE” of our 2 Act presentation with the KIDS ON BROADWAY students on April 7th from 6-7PM on the stage of the Performance Hall at the Renaissance Center. *What happens the first day of class? The first day, we play “get to know each other” games as well as explain behavior expectations. We will break our classes into short sections: Acting, Voice, and Dance. *What should my child bring? Each day, your student will need to bring their PACKET (provided), and a water bottle. Please make sure your student eats a snack before class. *What should my child wear? Please wear comfortable play-friendly clothing to each class. ALL students must wear close-toed shoes (please no flip flops or boots). Tennis shoes are best! *Costume info: Each student will be given a STAGE STRUCK T-shirt to be worn for the performance with their own jeans and tennis shoes. *How do I Sign Up? Upon completion of Registration and Payment, your child will receive an email with a list of Musical Theatre songs and tracks which they can become familiar with before classes begin.
